Presentation Description:  This interesting session will guide student led explorations and activities that focus on:  1) Researching images, perceptions and realities that help identify Black Irish and descendants from Ireland and America. 2) Categorize releveant information from sources that support the historical participation of Black Irish and descentdentas across the arts. 3) Developing and encouraging an acknoledgement, respect, and appreciation for the contributions made by Black Irish and descendents in a global society. 4) Helping to dispell myths that disconnect black Irish and their descendents from their cultural heritage.
