The Birmingham International Center's staff has extensive experience abroad- both as travelers and as 'tour organizers.'

We take one or more trips to our Spotlight Country each year. Trips are designed to be intimate, tailor-made and first-class. We generally take no more than 10-15 people on each trip and coordinate all activities in-country with locals of that country. Our trips are for those who want an off-the-beaten path experience and opportunities to meet people and go places that the average tourist doesn't have access to.

We are currently planning a trip to Ireland. On the itinerary are Dublin, Belfast and various small towns throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Dates are set for April 10-April18, 2010.
